The Kansas state government, via the Kansas Legislative Research Department, has just published this document that shows (through May of each year) 2014 tax revenue as $5.043 billion and 2015 tax revenue as $5.310 billion. The legislature just approved a budget for next year to add another $385 million. Ask your representative why they need to spend an additional $385 million beyond the $266,553 million increase to the present 2015 level.
