1. Learn about the FairTax
The information you find on this site is a good start as well as FairTax.org. But to be educated and make the decision for yourself, we suggest you read the original FairTax book, authored by Neil Boortz. Check your library or local book store. The FairTax is much simpler than our current tax system, but it requires a little study to fully understand the significance of reforming our tax code to the FairTax.

3. Write your Congressman
Let your elected officials know that you support FairTax. Self address letters are still the most effective message, followed by phone calls and email. We ask that you write your Senator and House Representative. The chambers have different versions of the bill, but both are commonly referred to as "FairTax".
In addition to the national tax reform, both Kansas and Missouri are working on state-level tax reform based on the FairTax Principles. KSFairTax.org can answer any questions you have about the state level initiatives. Again, very important to write your State Senator and State Representative to show support for those initiatives.
